Read This First: This is a new concept in Hunting & Fishing Consulting.
For 25 years, John Andre owned & operated Shoshone Wilderness Adventures, which was one of the premier hunting consulting agencies in the world. For the those unfamiliar with the hunting consulting industry, it works like a travel agency, with the consultant earning a commission from the outfitter. The cost to the client is the same.
Now, with the S.W.A.T.S. Discount Hunt Club, we no longer get paid a commission from the outfitter. The arrangement we have with the outfitters, is that they give our members a 10% discount. In effect, the commission John Andre used to earn, is now being given to the client, or S.W.A.T.S. member. This is how your S.W.A.T.S. Membership works.
For example: You go to our website, where you see the outfitters we recommend. You may wish to choose the outfitter yourself, or you may wish to consult with John Andre. That is your choice. You then contact the outfitter, give him your S.W.A.T.S. Identification Number, and you will automatically receive a 10% discount. All party members must also be S.W.A.T.S. Members, if they want the same discount.
For instance, suppose you want to book a $14,000.000 Alaskan Moose hunt with Henry Tiffany in Alaska. You simply call Henry up, give him your S.W.A.T.S. Identification Number, and the hunt will cost you $12,600. That is a savings of $1400, for a cost of $100, or $500 if you are a Lifetime Member. It is not a gimmick or a sales trick. This is real money, being saved every day by our membership.
Every Monday morning, the members receive a newsletter, with any cancellation or discounted hunts that we have received from our recommended outfitters. The savings varies from 15-70%, depending on the circumstances. There are some weeks where we have two dozen such discounted hunts, and other weeks when we don't have any. They are booked on a first come, first served basis.
