This unique animal is probably the most underrated trophy big game animal in North America. Living in the high, rocky crags of some of British Columbia's toughest country, these are a great challenge for any big game hunter. These hunts combine well with Elk, Moose, Mule Deer, Stone Sheep, and Mountain Caribou.

Annahootz Alaska Adventures: Hunt Prince of Wales Island and Baranof Island, on the southeast coast of Alaska, from the comforts of an ocean based boat, with longtime outfitter Jim Phillips. 29 foot boat, good hunt, but don't let those factors make you think this is an "easy" goat hunt. You still have to hike to get to the goats, which don't usually walk along the beach. The hunt combines well with Sitka Blacktail deer hunting.
Bolen-Lewis Trophy Guiding Company: This hunt takes place in perhaps the best big trophy Mountain Goat area in North America, in the northern Coast Mountains of British Columbia. Goats can be hunted here from September into February. Backpack style hunting.
Ceasar Lake Outfitters: Located in the southern Yukon, this exclusive area has great goat and mountain caribou hunting. Some of the nicest people in the hunting industry. Horseback hunts. Books 1-3 years in advance.
Driftwood Valley Outfitters: Fly-in Goat hunt north of Smithers, in the Skeena River country. This hunt combines best with Moose & Black Bear. Cabin accommodations, great hunt.
Findlay Creek Outfitters: Trophy Mountain Goat hunt in the Purcells of southern British Columbia. Cabins, horseback hunt. Combines very well with trophy elk hunting. Excellent outfitter, great game area. Complete package includes licenses, GST, etc.
Finlay River Outfitters: Hunt mountain goats in some of the most spectacular country in northern British Columbia with Jordy McAuley. As a primary animal, goats are hunted in September and early October. Both horseback and backpack style hunts are available. Mountain goat hunting is a very physical pursuit, and all hunters should be in very good physical conditions.
